A freight carrier physically transports cargo using its own vehicles — road hauliers, shipping lines, and airlines are all freight carriers. A logistics broker arranges that transport on behalf of the sender without owning any vehicles — the broker selects the carrier, coordinates documentation, and confirms collection and delivery. Go Trans is a logistics broker — every consignment Go Trans arranges is physically carried by a carrier partner (DHL, DPD, DSV, UPS, or FedEx). The distinction matters on freight documents: the freight carrier is named on the CMR consignment note as the transporting party; Go Trans as broker does not appear as the carrier on any freight document.
