What vehicles are used to transport bulky goods?

Curtainsiders carry palletised bulky freight and load from the side, which helps where dock access is limited. Box vans and Luton vans take single oversized items that will not palletise. Flatbeds carry anything that will not fit inside a body at all. At the delivery end the tail-lift matters more than the vehicle type, since it determines whether the item reaches ground level at a site without a dock.
