When should I use a tarpaulin sprinter instead of a standard panel van?

Use a tarpaulin sprinter when the load requires side access — long items such as aluminium profiles, steel bars, or timber sections that cannot be loaded rear-first into a box body, or when a forklift must access the load from the side rather than through the rear doors. If the load fits within 1,200 kg and 2–3 Euro pallets and the collection or delivery point has forklift side access, the tarpaulin sprinter is the correct vehicle. If the load is hand-loaded or requires hard-sided tamper evidence, a standard closed panel van is the more practical choice.
