What is another name for Special Drawing Rights?

The ISO 4217 currency code for Special Drawing Rights is XDR — the formal alternative designation used in financial and legal documents, including international freight conventions such as the CMR Convention and the Montreal Convention. SDRs were informally called "paper gold" after their creation in 1969, when the SDR was originally fixed to a gold equivalent at one US dollar. That term is not used in current IMF or treaty documentation.
