Can a delivery photo count as proof of delivery?

A delivery photo captured within the carrier's ePOD system — geo-tagged, time-stamped, and linked to the consignment reference in the carrier's verified tracking record — forms part of the official POD. A standalone photo taken outside the carrier's system does not substitute for a signed proof of delivery in a CMR freight liability claim. The carrier's complete digital record carries the evidentiary weight — a single image extracted from it does not.
