Is a transport order the same as a shipping order?

A shipping order confirms what the seller will dispatch and initiates the commercial shipment process — it addresses the relationship between buyer and seller. A transport order is the instruction issued to the carrier to physically collect and move the goods — it addresses the operational relationship between the ordering party and the carrier. Both relate to the same shipment but serve different parties at different stages of the freight chain.
