What is a display pallet and is it the same as a half pallet?

Display pallet and half pallet are two names for the same physical object — the EUR 6 format at 800mm × 600mm. The term "display pallet" comes from retail distribution, where the loaded pallet travels from the warehouse to the shop floor and becomes the product display unit without goods being transferred to shelves. "Half pallet" describes the same format from a dimensional perspective — half the footprint of the EUR 1 euro pallet. Supermarkets and FMCG operators use both terms interchangeably, but they refer to the same 800mm × 600mm pallet in every case.
